Here are the key takeaways that particularly stayed with us:
– AI impact on work and job market: From slow corporate adoption, processual obstacles to AI influence on recruitment. We all feel the tension between job security and uncertainty.
– The definition of Human Role: AI may seem powerful, but Human thinking for problem solving, analysis, and context-setting remains vital and crucial in face-to-face stakeholder handling. Conclusion: let’s position our roles with value, not just a set of skills.
– Career and Leadership: Concerns over layoffs, leadership responsibility, and how AI complicates career shifts. Companies, under the cover of AI investment, make excuses to get rid of people to survive in those difficult economic times.
– AI and Society: How education must adapt to avoid the risk of widening digital literacy gaps, and the need for Human-centric innovation. AI is everywhere, and it’s easy to just “get help with math” even on WhatsApp. Teachers and parents are challenged to guide the young ones and need systemic support in doing it well.
